I am an Italo-Colombian photographer and visual artist based in Berlin, currently studying at Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie. Growing up between Mediterranean and Latin American cultural imaginaries, my practice is shaped by a deep interest in geographies of the Global South and transnational cultural spaces. I am particularly drawn to contexts where spirituality, tradition, and contemporary realities intersect. I explore how identity, memory, and a sense of belonging are shaped through migration, rituals, and shared histories. I work primarily with photography, while my practice also extends into text-based research, video, and collaborative processes. Through these mediums, I construct visual narratives that move between documentary observation and symbolic staging. My current research addresses themes such as spiritual imaginaries, belief systems, relationships between women, and the tensions between tradition and contemporary life. Interested in how ritual and celebration can function as forms of knowledge and as ways of connecting with the unknown, I understand photography not only as a tool of representation, but also as a tool for activation.
